Caitlyn

Caitlyn is excited to be joining The Room To Grow community! She has 10 years of teaching experience and has fallen in love with The Reggio-Emilia approach. Some of Caitlyn’s favorite classroom activities include storytelling, sensory exploration, and creating open-ended art.

Caitlyn grew up in New York and attended college in South Carolina, where she met her boyfriend, Andrew. Together they moved to Los Angeles, and from there, to Oakland. She is ready for their next adventure together in the Bay Area!
Caitlyn has two pet bunnies, Norman and Dottie. One of Caitlyn’s favorite things to do is go for walks in her neighborhood, and she has a stroller so the bunnies can go too! Caitlyn also likes to visit aquariums wherever she goes because she is a little obsessed with sharks.
